Welcome to Highlands Bed & Breakfast
Church Stretton, Shropshire
Lynn & Alan welcome you to their four star bed & breakfast home located on the edge of the 18th century market town of Church Stretton, which in turn lies within the heart of the Shropshire Hills; designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The house enjoys views across the Long Mynd, Helmeth Hill and Hazler Hill as well as rooftop views of the houses nestled within the hills around Church Stretton and All Stretton.
Highlands Bed & Breakfast is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers or just to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.
The centre of Church Stretton and the railway station is a 15 minute walk away, where you will also find Carding Mill Valley; an excellent start for discovering the Long Mynd. To the east of the town you can find even more beautiful countryside including the hills of Caer Caradoc, The Lawley, Ragleth and Hope Bowdler. The historic town of Ludlow is within easy reach by train, bus or car, as is Shrewsbury to the north, Much Wenlock (with its geologically famous edge) and Ironbridge to the east. For information on places to visit in the area see our list of 'Things to do'.
Our aim at Highlands Bed & Breakfast is to provide you with comfortable, relaxing and friendly accommodation. There is plenty of car parking and a secure area to store bicycles and/or walking equipment.
The guests' lounge / dining room where you can relax, offers fantastic views and if the weather is suitable the garden is ideal for an evening drink to watch the sun set behind the Long Mynd.
A hearty full English breakfast is provided with local free-range eggs and options for vegetarians, vegans and those with other special dietary requirements.
We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay at Highlands Bed & Breakfast.
